What is PLR?

PLR stands for Private Label Rights. It is the highest resellers license that you can purchase. In a nutshell, it means that you can purchase a report, ebook or software with a PLR license and do almost anything you want to with it. This includes putting your name on it as the author, breaking an ebook up into articles, posting the content on your blog - or just lettingthe PLR product sit on your hard drive!

What are Master Resale Rights?

Master Resale Rights are products that you purchase for which you have the authority to resell to someone else. You also have the license to sell your customer the rights to resell the product.

What are Resell Rights?

Resell rights are producst for which you have purchased a license to sell a product and keep all of the products. Your customers DO NOT have the rights to resell the product. They are the end users of the product.

What can I do with PLR products? (skip to #10 for my personal favorite)

Books have been written on this subject. Here are just a few of the possible uses of PLR Products.

1) Modify your PLR articles for your own use and submit to article directories.

2) Use PLR articles as posts on your blog.

3) Grab a good PLR ebook within your niche and break it up into separate articles for distribution. OR take the same PLR ebook, modify the contents and republish it as your own ebook.

4) Find a good PLR software product and hire someone to update and improve it. You'll end up with a great product at less than 1/2 the cost of creating it from scratch.

5) Use a PLR report or PLR ebook as an opt-in incentive to help your email list grow. (This can be a HUGE use of PLR products and give you a great advantage!)

6) Create an eCourse out of a PLR report or PLR ebook. Set up your auto-responder to send out one lesson every 3-4 days. Put "ads" as a PS on each lesson.

7) An even better way to create an eCourse from a PLR ebook or PLR report is to load each lesson onto its own webpage. Doing this allows you to take advantage of Adsense and other ads that you can put on your site (but wouldn't be able to do in an email) in addition to promoting your product in a "subtle" way. You just send a blurb out every 3-4 days with the url for that particular lesson for your email customers.

8) Give away a good PLR report for FREE to your email list. Everyone love free stuff and you will be building trust and other good feelings with your customers when they receive free, no strings attached, stuff from you in your emails

9) Re-write PLR articles, by at leat 60% and resell them as PLR articles. Either sell themas individual articles or make up PLR article packs on the same niche.

10) The number one use of PLR is RESEARCH! Your PLR products have important research that has already been done for you! You can spend hours on the computer or in the library researching your niche - and then 30 minutes writing an article or short report. Using PLR for it's research value cuts dramatically into your research time and folks, THAT'S money in the bank to me!
